Personal Best Karate has been a place that my family and I have called our second home for many years. This unique karate school teaches so much more than Karate. They help set our children up for a successful life, empowering them with confidence, leadership skills, as well as being a good team member. Personal Best Karate focuses on building integrity, leadership, perseverance, honesty and self control among many other wonderful qualities. Not only do the kids learn to talk the talk and understand what aspects of those characteristics mean, but they walk the walk by demonstrating these skills and living them daily. I don't know any other Karate schools that truly teach above and beyond Karate. Personal Best along with each family are helping to build strong considerate responsible human being.
My daughter and I have both been going to Personal Best Karate well over several years now. We both love it! This is not just a karate school it is an extended family where everyone helps and supports each other to reach individual goals in martial arts, health and nutrition, physical fitness, friendship, and community.
The staff at PBK Norton is extremely friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. You will get the best karate instruction in a family-oriented atmosphere.

For myself, PBK, is my center...the place I go to learn, to be with friends, to train, to recharge and instill confidence in myself so I may face any challenges that come my way. I have had many challenges over the past several years, personal, mental, and physical, and I could have just given up when everything became too difficult. However I did not - I learned to push myself and overcome the challenges that I faced. It took a ton of hard work and dedication but today I am proud to say that I earned my black belt from PBK and I am now in better shape today than I was when I was twenty five years old...and that was a very long time ago!
Personal Best Karate school stands out much higher than the rest. Their instructor as well as the schools commitment to help groom honest, dedicated, kind, committed human being.
Also, all of their instructors show tremendous dedication to their students as well as a commitment for each student's Success. Both of my children, have demonstrated dedication and perseverance through karate recently. For example, My son who is a 1st degree black belt was eligible to try to go for his 2nd degree black belt. He didn't feel he was ready and fortunately had the confidence to articulate that to instructor Master Camara. My son worked hard over the past six months in order to feel ready to start preparing for his 2nd degree cycle. As for my daughter, she recently received her Black belt. Prior to receiving her black belt, She was determined to pass her 3 mile run which is part of the training required your black belt. She doesn't love running so this was a bit of a challenge for her. Training for month, and testing three various times before she met her required runtime showed great perseverance as well as commitment.
Personal Best is an awesome place to get healthy- everyone cares about your goals and helps you get to where you want to be. Plus the people you meet are positive and energetic - it's a great place to workout!
